WordPress 2.2 Released
Now that I am just about finished customizing my WordPress 2.1 template, Matt decided to release WordPress 2.2. I am glad to see that he is always working to make things better, but a WordPress release every couple of months really puts a strain on keeping my blog software updated. I have to do the longer 5-step upgrade that includes fun stuff like backing up my database and verifying that the new version works with my customized template.

It is nice to see that wordpress is constantly evolving but your right it gets a little bit daunting to keep your upgrades current. I tend to use the, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” approach. I do however understand the need to keep technology current. In saying this I usually hold off for 2 or 3 versions, then I upgrade.
